HOME EDUCATION PACKAGE

Our Home Education Package was created to support parents and carers in the role of educating their children at home. Children educated at home are provided with a rich and diverse range of experiences beyond the school walls, and parents have the opportunity to allow their children to learn in exciting and innovative ways. This service provides face to face tuition and carefully planned parent resources and activities to enhance children's home learning experience, whilst building essential Maths and English skills.

All tuition and the associated planning and marking included in the package are led by Qualified Teachers with over 10 years of primary experience.

HOW IT WORKS...

Following a 1:1 assessment of your child's strengths and next steps, and a discussion with parents and carers, sessions will begin in your home environment. These sessions are run 1:1, unless you choose to partner with additional home educating families with children working at a similar level. In these instances, up to 3 children can attend the sessions, and the cost per child reduces.

Sessions are run for one hour at the start of the week. There are maths and English package options available. Following the session, parents are given an overview of how their child found the session, and are provided with follow up activities (with parent notes) to carry out further activities for that week.

Children can complete their follow up learning activities with their parents and carers over the course of the week. These resources are planned and created to meet the needs and interests of the child. 'Wider World' activity ideas can also be provided to enhance your child's learning through rich and varied home learning experiences.

Physical resources are also included to support activities where required, for example, specific maths resources linked to the week's focus that you may not have available at home.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Home Tuition tutor groups are held on Mondays, with parent activities and work then being supplied for parents and carers to continue the week's learning.

The weekly fee includes a learning pack with parent information, all resources needed including loaned equipment for the week to support learning of new concepts.

Sessions can be booked in blocks of six with an additional 1:1 assessment required prior to the sessions commencing.

Home Educating families can choose to partner with other families to create groups of 2 or 3 children (therefore reducing the weekly package cost) providing these children are working at broadly the same academic level in the chosen subject.

Initial 1:1 assessment (1 hour): £35

Home Education Package for groups of 3 : £35 a week (per child)

Home Education Package for groups of 2 : £50 a week (per child)

Home Education Package for 1:1 support: £60 a week

Weekly session shown is the weekly cost per child. The package cost includes:

1 hour of tuition at the start of the week
Additional learning activities to follow on from the first lesson, with parent support notes and activity resources
Loan of resources to support learning for that week
Tutor marking and individual feedback sent to parents with next steps and suggested online and offline resources
